We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Sunway ECR-PG Mini Research Symposium, co-hosted by the Early-Career Researcher Network (ECRN), and the Sunway Biofunctional Molecules and Discovery Centre (SBMDC), School of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University.

Pioneering Discoveries and Innovations through Postgraduate Research: Shaping the Future of Health

This symposium is a prime platform for postgraduate students and early-career researchers to present innovative research, learn from distinguished local and international biomedical scientists, and network with industry leaders. Our sessions will cover everything from advanced research methodologies to career development in the biotechnology industry.

We are excited to feature Professor Harish Dureja, a distinguished expert in pharmaceutical sciences, as one of our plenary speakers. Prof. Dureja will lead a compelling session titled "Prescribing Apps: A New Era of Healthcare with Digital Therapeutics (DTX)”.

Prof. Dr. Harish Dureja  is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and Director of the Centre for IPR Studies along with the Director of Professional Consultancy Cell at M. D. University, Rohtak. He is also a Visiting Professor, ARCCIM, Faculty of Health, University of Technology Sydney, Australia. Standford University has listed him in the World's Top 2% scientists in 2023.

Other highlights of this symposium include:

  2. Seminars on some of the latest advancements in science from experts in the field.
  3. Interview skills and leveraging artificial intelligence for research and publication.
