Academic Book Publishing with Springer Nature
Join the editors from Springer Nature, for a presentation on getting your book published.
Springer Nature now covers the Asia Pacific region with commissioning editors based in Singapore, India, China, Japan & Australia. Editors are looking to acquire original academic publications in the fields of Political Sciences, Business & Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Asian Studies, and Law. In this publishing workshop, Vishal Daryanomel (Palgrave Macmillan) and Anushangi Weerakoon (Springer) will give an introduction to Springer Nature, its position in the market, and provide an introduction to the various book products. The presentation will also explain how books are distributed and include pointers on publishing with Springer Nature; what editors are looking for / publishing processes / how to submit book proposals. There will also be a focus on shorter monographs such as the Palgrave Pivots and SpringerBriefs.
