Altus Educator – Flute Workshop (Kane Music)

The Altus Educator – Flute Workshop is a collaborative initiative between the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), Sunway University, and Kane Music, bringing together education, performance, and professional practice in a focused masterclass setting.

This workshop features masterclasses by two distinguished flute educators and performers: Wong Siow Chi and Lawrence Chiu. With strong backgrounds in performance, pedagogy, and professional musicianship, both educators will guide participants through in-depth exploration of etudes and studies, offering practical insights into technique, tone production, musical interpretation, and effective practice strategies.

Designed for aspiring flautists, students, and educators, the session provides participants with direct engagement with experienced practitioners, reinforcing FASS’s commitment to industry collaboration and Kane Music’s role in advancing music education. The workshop also reflects a shared vision to elevate flute pedagogy through structured learning, artistic exchange, and professional mentorship.
