We invite you to join an Introductory Session on ProSocial AI, organised by Sunway Institute for Global Strategy and Competitiveness (IGSC).
Managing AI to bring out the best in and for people and planet
This session offers a practical entry point into ProSocial AI: what it is, why it matters, and how it can guide more responsible, meaning-oriented, human-centered, and planet-conscious AI use. Participants will explore key concepts, real-world applications, and first questions for assessing AI through the lens of agency, social impact, and planetary wellbeing.
Using the ProSocial AI Index, participants will begin mapping where AI currently supports human agency, social good, and planetary wellbeing in their field — and where adjustment may be beneficial.
About the Speaker
Cornelia Walther is an Associate Professor at Sunway IGSC and a Senior Fellow at the Sunway Centre for Planetary Health. She is a visiting scholar at the Wharton Neuroscience Initiative and the McNulty Leadership Program and is affiliated with the Harvard Learning Innovations Laboratory and UNFPA Morocco.
