Spanish Cinema Day at Sunway University

Join us in celebrating Spanish Cinema Day with a special screening of El Desencanto (1976), directed by Jaime Chávarri.
Presented with the support of the Embassy of Spain and the Instituto Cervantes in collaboration with the Department of Film and Theatre at Sunway University, this screening offers an opportunity to engage with a significant work of Spanish documentary cinema, exploring themes of memory, family, identity, and cultural transformation.

The event brings together cinema, cultural dialogue, and academic engagement, providing students and the wider university community and general public with an opportunity to encounter and discuss Spanish film culture.
