Biography
Dr. Ong Ai Rene was trained in survey statistics and methodology. She graduated with a PhD in Survey Methodology from the University of Michigan and had worked in the area of education statistics prior to returning to Malaysia.
After returning to Malaysia, she transitioned into cancer epidemiology. Her current research is a multi-country study examining the association of lifestyle and reproductive factors for breast cancer among BRCA1 and BRCA2 carriers in Asia.
