Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Recognises Prof Elizabeth Lee as New Bailli Delegate of Malaysia

The International Association of Gastronomy – Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Bailliage of Malaysia recently held its yearly Annual Induction Ceremony and Gala Dinner, welcoming new members to the association as well as celebrating promotions within the Malaysia National Bailliage.
Founded by Dato’ Lau Foo Sun in 1977, the Bailliage of Malaysia comprises of seven regional Bailliages of Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Penang, Perak, Putrajaya, Sabah and Sarawak with over 180 members.
The Induction Ceremony recognised Professor Elizabeth Lee as the new Bailli Delegate of Malaysia for the Bailliage of Malaysia. Professor Lee is also the CEO of Sunway Education Group which includes Sunway University with a vibrant and successful School of Hospitality and Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia which organised the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition 2022 for Malaysia.
The ceremony was officiated by Maître de Cérémonie (Master of Ceremony) representing Paris, Ilse Duponcheel, who is also the Bailli Delegate of Belgium. Other guests include visiting officer, Leta Ng, Chargée de Presse (Press Officer) of Hong Kong; Alan Pryor, Chancelier and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre General Manager; and fellow members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Bailliage of Malaysia.
Professor Lee was also awarded the esteemed UN Women 2021 Asia-Pacific Women’s Empowerment Principles Regional Awards for Leadership Commitment. The Leadership Commitment category recognises leaders in corporations who have been instrumental in setting strong corporate commitments including progressive policies, regulations or practices that aim to promote gender equality in the workplace, marketplace and community.
