Covid-Team Member at Sunway Medical Centre

Ho Keat Yie, who graduated in BSc (Hons) Biomedicine, joined Sunway Medical Centre as a Medical Laboratory Scientist during the peak period of Covid-19. She is one of the Centre's Covid-Team members.

She was proud, yet humbled to be able to dedicate long hours for her country. At the time when the pandemic was at its heights and many things were uncertain, she braved herself, putting her own life at risk with selfless determination for the sake of saving lives.

Since the coronavirus outbreak, health-care professionals have not only experienced the gratification of healing patients and saving lives but also become more resilient and adaptable. Ho Keat Yie is bullish about entering the endemic phase. "It will be a slow process, but eventually we will get there."
