Sunway University Maintains Upward Trajectory in the QS World University Rankings 2023

In the recently released QS World University Rankings 2023, which ranked 1422 universities globally out of 2462 analysed institutions, Sunway University has emerged within the #601 – 650 band, a rise from its previous band #651 – 700. This continued success is attributed to the University’s commitment to steady and sustainable growth and significant investments to improve the quality of our teaching and learning and research through state-of-the-art teaching facilities and forming world-class research collaborations.

The University prioritizes on nurturing a holistic education whilst promoting a planetary health mindset through education, practise and experience. Our academics continue to engage and collaborate with other academics globally to work on regional and global challenges as well as with local industries to work on national priority areas. As such, our research output and citations continue to increase from year to year. 

On the employer front, we continue to facilitate activities and events that benefit both employers and students alike such as career fairs, industry talks and mentoring sessions. We also provide employers with monthly updates on university happenings and seek employers’ feedback on all our internship programmes. In addition, we continue to meet various industry advisory boards regularly who provide input on curriculum development to ensure our programmes remain relevant. This makes our graduates very much in demand and highly employable.
