AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge

A team of young Malaysian talents representing Sunway University and its School of Hospitality and Service Management took Bangkok by storm at the AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge. This record-breaking year saw 24 teams from 11 countries compete, culminating in a thrilling live proposal pitching challenge, the first since the pandemic. The experience was electrifying, leaving an unforgettable mark on all involved.

The AFECA Asia platform served as a launchpad for learning, sharing, and growth within the MICE industry. The University extends heartfelt gratitude to AFECA Asia for hosting this invaluable opportunity and to the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and MACEOS for their unwavering support.

Most importantly, a special shoutout goes to the event lecturers and coaches (Ng Siew Cheng, Belinda Fong, Su I., Ms. Hairani) who mentored and empowered the team throughout their journey from national to international glory. With their guidance and support, the AFECA MICE Youth Challenge experience became one for the books!
