Professor Lau Sian Lun, Dr Sim Tze Ying, and Collaborators Were Awarded the 2023 Team Finland Knowledge (TFK) Programme Funded Project

Congratulations to Professor Lau Sian Lun and Dr Sim Tze Ying on the award of the Team Finland Knowledge (TFK) Programme Funded Project worth 64,000 Euros (~RM320,000) for the duration of 1/8/2023 to 31/12/2025. The project partners are the Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology (LUT) and the University of Turku, Finland. The winning project, “Impact eXChange through International Hackathon for Sustainable Solutions,” focuses on integrating sustainability into computer science/software engineering education.

Professor Lau is the Associate Dean of International and Head of the Department of Engineering, and Associate Professor Dr Sim is the Dean School of American Education.
