SHSM Conducts Food Handler Training
Despite the ongoing mid-semester break, students of the School of Hospitality and Service Management remain committed to constantly building upon their skills. Programme Leader of BSc (Hons) International Hospitality Management and certified Food Handler Trainer Karen Lui conducted a food handler training session. This training provided students with an understanding of the basics of food hygiene in order to prevent foodborne hazards and poisoning. Additionally, those who completed the training are eligible to receive a valid-for-lifetime Certificate of Recognition from the Ministry of Health (MoH) Malaysia.
It is great to see that students of Sunway University are committed to constant self-improvement and learning. The University hopes to see many more successful training programmes held.
