SUGSC Visits DHL KLIA Warehouse

Sunway University Global Supply Chain held an industry visit to the DHL KLIA Warehouse at Sepang on the 25th of October 2023. A total of 18 students from Sunway University joined this visit. 

During this visit, attendees delved into the world of freight forwarding and gained invaluable firsthand knowledge and practical insights into DHL's global forwarding operations. Additionally, attendees were given the chance to explore the MAB Kargo warehouse, witnessing their warehouse operations and even being granted the unique chance to visit the MAB Kargo Animal Hotel. The Hotel provides care to animals during their travel. As a whole, students were able to glean a better understanding of how the freight forwarding industry works.

SUGSC would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the DHL Global Forwarding team, including Steeven Eng - Station Manager, KUL, Sabrina Hasan Aziz - Head of Human Resources, Noor Afzaniza Binti Ahmad - Senior Manager of AFR Handling KUL, and Muhammad Zahid Bin Zulkefli - Head of Unit from MAB Kargo for sharing their expertise during the visit.

Special thanks also goes out to Cassandra L. - Senior Executive of Human Resources at DHL Global Forwarding, and Nurul Liyana Saha - Management Trainee of DHL Global Forwarding, for arranging this visit and acting as guides.

Additionally, special gratitude to SU Programme Leader and Club Advisor, Miss Stella Ong Kim Yoke, who led and assisted attendees through this exciting trip.
