Sustainable Stylecon Opening Ceremony

Sunway Business School had a remarkable kick-off to the Sustainable Stylecon. The opening ceremony was inspiring and set the stage for an incredible journey towards sustainable fashion. Prof. Sibrandes Poppema, the President of Sunway University delivered an insightful opening speech, highlighting the importance of sustainable practices in the fashion industry.

A touch of glamour was added to the event by two distinguished guests: Miss Universe Malaysia 2022, Ms. Lesley Cheam Wei Yeng, and Mrs. West India 2018, Dr. Shraddha Kulkarni. Their presence added a remarkable charm to the occasion. 

Both Ms. Cheam and Dr. Shraddha shared their invaluable perspectives on the connections and relations between sustainability and fashion. Their speeches were filled with passion and knowledge, emphasizing the need for eco-conscious choices and the impact of fashion on our environment.
