Trident Games 2023

Trident Games, formerly known as Trident Cup, is a biennial sports carnival that aims to foster unity and friendship among Bandar Sunway communities. On March 15, 2023, our SEG CEO, Dato' Prof. Elizabeth Lee, officially launched the third edition of Trident Games and Jeffrey Cup. In addition to the three major universities: Sunway University, Monash University, and Taylor's University; Asia Pacific University and International Medical University were invited to participate. A total of 439 athletes (390 students and 49 staff) competed in 14 sporting events.  

Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah, Founder and Chairman of Sunway Group, and Prof. Sibrandes Poppema, President of Sunway University, present the medals and trophies to the winners during the Trident Games Awards on March 18, 2023. The Asia Pacific University football team won the Jeffery Cheah Cup in the Trident football game.
