Celebrating Excellence: Brianna’s Remarkable Achievements in Research and Academia
We are pleased to share that Brianna, a PhD candidate under the FMLS supervising by a supervisory team of Prof. Goh Bey Hing, Dr Ayaz Anwar, Dr Sin-Yeang (Ronald) Teow, Dr Wu Yuan Seng, Dr Liang Ee Low and Prof. Long Chiau Ming, was shortlisted and attended the prestigious 10th HKU-Pasteur Cell Biology Course. This highly competitive programme, offered by the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole, brings together outstanding students and experts from around the world. The programme covers several exciting topics, including cellular trafficking, cytoskeleton dynamics, and cancer biology. Whereas, Prof. Bey Hing Goh himself was an alumnus of this programme in 2010 when he was a postgraduate student. Our deepest gratitude to Prof. Roberto Bruzzone for his unwavering support and mentorship of researchers worldwide.
In addition to this achievement, Brianna , won the Best Poster Presentation for her work titled “5-Fluorouracil Loaded Chitosan Nanogels Demonstrate Selective Cytotoxicity in Colorectal Cancer Cells” at the 4th Joint Higher Degree by Research Conference. This event, held at Sunway University from 4-5 September 2024, was in partnership with James Cook University Singapore (JCUS), Taylor's University Malaysia (TU), and University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM).
