Professor Mayeen Uddin Khandaker Appointed as IAEA Expert on Global Radiation Safety Guidelines in Vienna, Austria
We are delighted to announce that Professor Dr Mayeen Uddin Khandaker, a distinguished faculty member of Sunway University, has been invited by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to participate as an expert in the Technical Meeting on Radiation Protection and Safety in High-Level Background Radiation Areas. The meeting will occur at the IAEA's Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, from September 30 to October 3, 2024.
In recognition of Professor Mayeen's expertise in the field, the IAEA has awarded him a travel grant. During the meeting, Professor Mayeen will contribute to developing the new General Safety Guide on Radiation Protection and Safety in Existing Exposure Situations.
