SBS Attends LogiSYM Asia Pacific 2024
8 students from Sunway Business School and Dr Stella Ong Kim Yoke received special invitations to attend LogiSYM Asia Pacific 2024, themed “Supply Chain Agility, Sustainability, and Digitalisation with Artificial Intelligence,” held at Singapore EXPO.
The students had eye-opening experiences exploring the international exhibition centre, which was proudly showcasing automated machines designed for digital warehouse management.
The host, Dr Raymon Krishnan (President of LogiSYM) and E-Yan Chee (LogiSYM Partnership Manager) pre-arranged for Sunway students to visit the Bosch Rexroth Regional Training Centre. The detailed briefing and interactive session led by Peter Peh (Centre Director) significantly broadened their understanding of how AI and data programming are leveraged to boost productivity and performance in the industry. They were particularly inspired by the Industry 4.0 transformation, and Sunway University truly appreciates the insights from Andreas Djojorahardjo (Senior Control System Engineer at Bosch)
Besides that, the group was honoured to be part of LogiSYM Awards 2024 Industry Gala Night, where Dr Stella had the opportunity to meet the Chairman of Singapore AirCargo Agents Association SAAA@Singapore, Mr Steven Lee and the Director, Logistics at Enterprise Singapore, Jesse Oeni. The introduction and networking engagement was led by Dr Marco Tieman , Organizing Chairman for LogiSYM Malaysia 2024.
The special ceremony night was filled with celebration and recognition of outstanding achievements in the Logistics and Supply Chain Community. Congratulations to all the winners
Sunway University is grateful for our committed partnership with LogiSYM and looks forward to meeting more industry partners at LogiSYM Malaysia, taking place on 19-20 June 2024 at Sunway University.
