Strengthening Ties: Sunway University’s Visit to Wuchang Shouyi University Sparks Future Collaboration
In early November, a delegation from Sunway University visited Wuchang Shouyi University, advancing the partnership established through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in June 2024. This visit marked a moment in fostering a robust and mutually enriching collaboration between the two institutions. Both universities expressed optimism about the potential for transformative initiatives, expected to materialise by 2025 and beyond.
Discussion during the visit, on key areas of cooperation, including the PhD training programs for Wuchang Shouyi University faculty members and, the development of dynamic student mobility and exchange initiatives. These programs are designed to go beyond academic and cultural exchanges, with a strong emphasis on enhancing students’ career development and employability. By providing exposure to diverse learning environments, professional networks, and global perspectives, the initiatives aim to equip students with skills and experiences that will give them a competitive edge in the global job market.
