Sunway Robo-battles its Way to National Quarterfinals

A team of SET computing students, guided by Professor Kian Meng Yap, reached the Quarterfinals in the National-level combat robotics competition at Pusat Sains Negara (PSN). For four days, Team SUN01 competed alongside experienced teams from other universities and private organizations across Malaysia, achieving this remarkable milestone.

As Lab Apprentices at Sunway University’s HUMAC-RC, the students received extensive support and training from the staff throughout their year-long preparation. This invaluable experience, provided by SET and HOME Lab, is sure to inspire future engineering students to continue building on the team’s success and aim for even greater achievements.
