AI, Imagination & Inquiry: Transforming Teaching in the 21st Century

Prof. Kavita Reginald had the privilege of attending the NTU Annual Learning & Teaching Conference 2025 at Nanyang Technological University, an inspiring space that continues to spark transformative conversations around the future of higher education.

One of the most thought-provoking sessions came from Rikke Toft Nørgård, who urged educators to confront the "imagination crisis" in academia. She reimagined the university as more than an institution, it’s a living, ethical, playful, and planetary space.

Another key highlight was from Assoc. Prof. Dr Chen Wen Li, who offered a refreshing shift in perspective, from Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Intelligence Augmentation (IA). The message was clear: AI isn't here to replace educators, but to amplify human potential, when used with purpose and care.
