Sunway Business School recently hosted “Beyond Majors: Redefining Success in the Age of Limitless Possibilities” on 5 November 2025, bringing together industry experience and academic insight to guide students in navigating diverse career pathways.
The session featured Wan Hou Yin, Country Director at Gushcloud International, and Assoc. Prof. Michelle Yang from the Graduate School of Management at Kyoto University. They shared practical perspectives on both planned and unexpected career journeys, aligning closely with key Principles of Management themes such as planning, leadership, and strategic decision-making.
More than 400 students from non-finance programmes and free-elective cohorts joined the event, gaining early exposure to real-world challenges and opportunities across different business sectors. A special thank you to Gushcloud International for the surprise Montigo flask and cup giveaways that added an exciting highlight to the session.
