Building Future-Ready Public Service Leaders
How can Malaysia deliver a faster, higher-quality public service?
That was the big question driving our week-long Leadership Development Program for JPA, hosted at Sunway Lagoon Hotel with Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI) from 24-29 August 2025.
Together with 20 senior leaders from 10 federal agencies, we explored:
- Agile leadership & trust-building
- Team effectiveness & proactive communication
- AI for productivity
- Institutional arrangements that accelerate performance
Learning also went beyond the classroom, from observing debates in Parliament to thought exchanges at Merdeka 118, plus candid conversations with former Education Ministers and Sunway Group leaders.
The outcome? A cohort of leaders eager to learn, humble to unlearn, and ready to act.
