Orientation X: Hospitality Begins Here at Sunway Resort Hotel
We are delighted to have brought our new students from the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management on an extended orientation experience — this time at the prestigious Sunway Resort Hotel. The flagship five-star property recently added the title of “Best Luxury Family Resort in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia” at the 16th annual Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2024 to its impressive list of accolades, continuing to set the gold standard in hospitality.
From engaging industry insights shared by Mr Brendan van Zyl, Cluster General Manager, Ms Carmen Andrew, Director of Human Resources, and Ms Wong Yun Yi, Management Associate, to exclusive tours of rooms, facilities, and behind-the-scenes kitchen operations, this visit immersed our freshmen right at the heart of real-world hospitality.
