PhD Scholars' Presentation at Nanjing University Business School, China
Sunway Business School proudly congratulates our PhD scholars, Fiaz Ahmad and Ummara Razi, for securing a fully sponsored opportunity to present their research papers at The China–Southeast Asia Kerry Young Scientist Forum and the China–Malaysia International Conference on Industrial Innovation and Shared Prosperity, hosted by Nanjing University Business School, China, from 24 to 26 October 2025.
Fiaz Ahmad presented his paper titled “Impact of Board Centrality on Firm Carbon Emission: A Study on Malaysian Public Listed Firms,” co-authored with Prof. Calvin Cheong, Prof. Zaheer Anwer, and Dr Noman Arshed, which received constructive engagement from academics and industry experts.
Ummara Razi presented her research titled “Malaysian Industrial Upgrading and Sustainable Development within the Belt and Road Initiative Framework,” contributing to discussions on innovation, cross-border cooperation, and sustainable development.
Their participation underscores the growing international presence of Sunway Business School’s doctoral researchers and reflects our commitment to advancing impactful and globally relevant scholarship.
