Potatoes USA Culinary College Training 2025
The Department of Culinary & Food Studies (DCFS) hosted a hands-on culinary workshop in collaboration with Potatoes USA at Sunway University’s Demo Kitchen.
Themed “Recipe Ideation in Western and Fusion Cooking & Malaysian and Asian Cooking”, the session brought together students from the Basic Culinary Operations and Intermediate Culinary Operations classes for a unique learning experience led by Chef Jason Manson and Chef Bob Adnin. This event provided students with industry-level exposure and a platform to innovate with global ingredients.
We would like to thank Dr Daniel Chong Ka Leong, Dean of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Ms Marisa Stein, Global Marketing Director, Potatoes USA, for taking their time to join us and deliver their opening speech. Thank you to the lead organiser of this event, Chef Muhammad Haziq Jamalulail, for bringing everything together and facilitating the smooth running of the session.
