Research Centre For Human-Machine Collaboration (HUMAC) Secures RM 272,160 International Industry Funding with Aerosense & Sumitomo
We’re proud to share a significant milestone for the Research Centre for Human-Machine Collaboration (HUMAC) at Sunway University!
HUMAC has secured RM272,160 in international industry funding through a 7-year strategic collaboration with Aerosense Inc. and Sumitomo Corporation under the project “Aerosense’s VTOL Business Expansion in ASEAN.”
Formalised through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), this partnership focuses on delivering after-sales support services for Malaysia and the broader ASEAN markets, marking a major step forward in regional aerospace innovation.
This project brings together the interdisciplinary expertise of:
- Professor Ir Ts. Yap Kian Meng
- Chew Zhe Zhi (Master’s student)
- Teoh Jiehan (PhD candidate)
- and the dedicated HUMAC research team
