SBS Embassy Series: Visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan
As part of the Sunway Business School Embassy Series, students and staff from Sunway University and Sunway College had the honour of visiting the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Malaysia on 5 November 2025.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by His Excellency Bulat Sugurbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Malaysia, who shared valuable insights into Kazakhstan’s rich cultural heritage, strategic economic growth, and commitment to fostering global partnerships.
Students engaged in an inspiring dialogue on Kazakhstan’s vision for education, innovation, and sustainable development, as well as its growing collaboration with Malaysia in areas such as trade, tourism, and academic exchange.
This meaningful engagement broadened participants’ understanding of Kazakhstan’s pivotal role in Central Asia and its efforts to promote cross-cultural and educational cooperation.
We extend our sincere appreciation to His Excellency Bulat Sugurbayev and the Embassy team for their warm hospitality and insightful sharing. Special thanks also go to Ms Akmaral Belgibekova, Second Secretary, for her support and coordination in facilitating this initiative.
Through this initiative, Sunway University continues to empower globally minded graduates and strengthen international collaborations that extend learning beyond borders.
