SBSSC Organises Fundraiser in Support of PAWS
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the fundraising initiative for PAWS (Paws Animal Welfare Society).
Organised by the Sunway Business School Student Concilium, this initiative reflects our students’ dedication to compassion, sustainability, and community engagement. Their collective effort not only raised RM301 for PAWS but also created meaningful awareness about animal welfare and responsible pet care within our community. This donation contributes towards food, shelter, and medical care for rescued animals, showcasing how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
As part of the visit, we also had the opportunity to spend time with the adorable dogs and cats at the shelter. This hands-on experience allowed our students to connect with the cause on a deeper level, fostering empathy, emotional well-being, and a renewed sense of responsibility towards all living beings. It was a heartwarming reminder of how pets can bring joy, relaxation, and a sense of calm to our minds.
Through this initiative, our students demonstrated that impactful leadership begins with empathy. Their efforts not only improved the welfare of animals but also cultivated a spirit of social responsibility and sustainable action aligned with the SDGs.
