Sunway Business School Students Gain Firsthand Media Insights at Media Prima Visit

We are thrilled to share that Sunway Business School Media arranged a successful industry visit for Sunway Business School students to Media Prima Berhad on 9 October 2025.

The purpose of the visit was to gain invaluable, real-world exposure and career insights across the various dynamic divisions shaping Malaysia's media landscape.

The visit, meticulously facilitated by Mr Kamarul Aznam Kamarozaman (Marketing Strategy & Communication Manager, NSTP), followed the program perfectly, commencing at the Anjung Liku Lobby, Balai Berita Bangsar. Our students received comprehensive expert briefings and tours across multiple floors: On Level 4, we toured the NSTP Editorial & MPTV News & Current Affairs (NCA), where we received crucial operational insights into the division's leadership, guided by the General Manager of OAP, Mr Kamaruddin Mape, and had the valuable opportunity to meet with editors and presenters, including the highly-regarded TV3 Host, Ms Azaria Tagaya.

On Level 3, we explored the REV Media Group (RMG), Media Prima's crucial digital arm, to understand content monetization and online news management. The tour continued on Level 2 at the NCA's TV Studios, giving us a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the production of broadcasts like Buletin Utama. Finally, we saw the dynamic operation of Media Prima Audio (MPA) on the Ground Floor, which manages five of Malaysia's top radio stations, including gaining insights related to popular shows like the Fly FM Morning Show hosted by personalities such as Ean and Haniff.
