Sunway International Mobility Programme in NCUT, China

September 2025 marks the first cohort of the Sunway University Mobility Programme to NCUT (北方工业大学), Beijing.

From 1st to 14th September 2025, sixteen students from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University, participated in this two-week mobility programme hosted by NCUT. The programme introduced students to the fundamentals of database technology and machine learning, delivered brilliantly by Prof. Wang Ruobin of NCUT.

Beyond technical learning, the students also explored cultural landmarks such as the Great Wall and the Summer Palace, and had the opportunity to visit a rural area outside Beijing to engage with locals—including an apple-picking experience.

This mobility programme reflects the faculty’s commitment to providing students with diverse experiences that better equip them for today’s dynamic world. It was undoubtedly a valuable and memorable learning journey for all who participated.
