Sunway Business School celebrated 15 remarkable students who completed the pilot Refugee Education Student Volunteer Program on 12 November 2025.

This initiative brought Sunway Business School, the Sustainable Business for Society Student Club, United World Academy (UWA) Refugee Learning Center, and PRME Chapter ASEAN+ together with a shared purpose: to empower through education.

Over the past weeks, our students stepped into classrooms not only as volunteers, but also as mentors, supporters, and role models. They learned firsthand how opportunities can reshape futures and how compassion fuels meaningful change.

Their reflections spoke of growth, courage, and new perspectives that will continue to guide their personal and professional journeys.

Representatives from UWA joined us in honouring the students’ contributions and highlighted the transformative impact of partnerships that unite communities for a greater cause.

We are also grateful to the staff members whose dedication ensured the smooth execution of the programme and its lasting outcomes.

At Sunway Business School, we believe business education goes beyond theory. It is about nurturing leaders who understand people, who lead with empathy, collaborate with purpose, and drive initiatives that uplift others.

To every student changemaker, thank you for reminding us of what it means to create impact that truly matters. The future feels brighter with you leading the way.
