Sunway University Hosts Over 700 Students at Next Big Quest 2025
Sunway University's Campus with a Conscience played host to more than 700 young minds over two weekends, as it hosted the 2025 rendition of the Next Big Quest, held on 26th July and 2nd August.
The Next Big Quest is an annual event by Sunway University, focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. NBQ aims to inspire young students through interactive challenges involving practical skills, with winners being rewarded. The challenges took place all over Sunway University's campus, giving young students the chance to experience the University's state-of-the-art facilities. A total of 30 schools sent teams of students to take part in the quest.
The event also served to benefit teachers, as there were teacher workshops held on both days, focusing on the topic of 'Classroom-Ready Innovations in Sustainability and AI'.
The quest was divided into four sessions across two days, with each day featuring a morning and afternoon session. For each session, 3 teams were declared as winners, for a total of 12 winners, all of whom were given awards.
The 2025 edition of the Next Big Quest not only challenged and inspired young minds but also fostered a spirit of innovation, collaboration, and sustainability among both students and educators. With over 700 participants and 30 schools coming together, the event stood as a testament to the power of education
