Advancing Research Excellence Through Evidence-Based Scholarship

Sunway Business School successfully hosted the "From Literature to Knowledge: Systematic Review and Bibliometric Analysis for Scholarly Publishing" workshop as part of the Early Career Researcher (ECR) Skill Development Series, bringing together more than 65 Early Career Researchers, faculty members, and postgraduate researchers from Sunway University and other private universities across Malaysia.

Facilitated by Prof. Satish Kumar, Professor and Dato Tan Sri Azman Hashim Endowed Chair of Finance and Banking, the workshop provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on insights into conducting rigorous systematic literature reviews and bibliometric analyses. From developing effective search strategies and navigating the Scopus database to science mapping, thematic evolution, and interpreting bibliometric findings, participants strengthened their research capabilities to produce impactful scholarly work.

Organised by Sunway Business School – Early Career Researcher (SBS-ECR) and co-organised by the Early Career Researcher Network (ECRN), Sunway University, the workshop reflects Sunway Business School's ongoing commitment to nurturing a vibrant research culture and empowering the next generation of scholars through continuous learning, collaboration, and academic excellence.
