Congratulations to Dr Richard Wong Teck Ken and his team on successfully securing the Grant Exploratory and Transformative (GET) Phase 2 2026 funding.
Their project, titled "Modelling and Algorithms for Techno-Economic Analysis of Hydrogen-Integrated Microgrid Digital Transformation Towards Net-Zero Pathways," has been awarded MYR177,000.
This achievement reflects a strong cross-institutional collaboration led by Dr Richard Wong Teck Ken, together with Prof. Ker Pin Jern, Prof. M. A. Hannan and Dr Mohd Firdaus Bin Roslan from Sunway University, as well as Dr Nan Zhao from Lancaster University.
The project aims to advance the digital transformation of hydrogen-integrated microgrids through innovative modelling and techno-economic analysis, supporting the transition towards sustainable and net-zero energy pathways.
