FutureX Ventures Fest 2026
Organised by Sunway iLabs, our innovation lab and corporate venture capital arm, the FutureX Ventures Fest 2026 returned for its second year, convening more than 200 global innovation leaders.
The forum was officiated by Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo, alongside Sunway Group Deputy President Evan Cheah.
Set against a beachside backdrop at Sunway Lagoon, the gathering featured prominent venture capital leaders, including Silicon Valley’s Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) Perennial. Discussions centred on artificial intelligence adoption, emerging investment trends and Malaysia's role in Southeast Asia's technology landscape.
The event also underscored Sunway's efforts to strengthen Malaysia's startup ecosystem and advance AI talent development through strategic partnerships with local and regional venture capital firms.
As Malaysia pursues its ambition of becoming an AI nation by 2030, FutureX Ventures Fest aims to deepen collaboration across the AI and deep-tech ecosystem, bringing together founders, investors, corporates, and innovation leaders to forge regional partnerships and expand opportunities for Malaysians.
