Global Perspectives Meet Local Innovation

The School of Education was pleased to host representatives from Danish Universities of Applied Sciences and Embassy of Denmark at Sunway University for an institutional showcase session led by Prof. Chai Lay Ching.

Deputy Deans (International), Assoc. Prof. Dr Joaquim Dias Soeiro, Assoc. Prof. Dr Padma Pillai, Prof. Ker Pin Jern and Assoc. Prof. Dr Majid Ghasemy from SHTM, FASS, FET and SOE attended, keeping the discussion aligned across school/faculty.

School of Education was given a dedicated slot to share how we are approaching AI in education beyond the hype, grounded in pedagogy, internal readiness, and real use cases, where we showcased our AI Tutor pilot, co-developed with an industry partner, focusing on tools that are curatable, context-aware, and user-friendly.
