Master of ABA Students Gain Real-World Experience Through Community Engagement
The Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis students from the School of Psychology had the opportunity to translate theory into real-world practice through their practicum involvement in the RHB Empower Cohort 2 – Neuro Talent Artpreneur Programme.
The ABA Project, one of the practicum sites for the Master of ABA programme, has continued to support students in applying their classroom learning within real community settings. Through this community-based initiative, students were able to observe, participate, and contribute meaningfully while supporting neurodiverse youth in developing confidence, creativity, and artistic expression.
Experiences such as this highlight the value of practicum learning, where academic knowledge, professional skills, and community engagement come together to prepare future ABA practitioners for meaningful work in real-life settings.
