SBS Research Seminar Series: Prof. Masaki Hosomi

Sunway Business School continued its SBS Research Seminar Series with a session by Professor Masaki Hosomi on the topic “Factors for Enhancing Work Life Balance from a Coworker’s Perspective” on 28 January 2026.

The seminar explored how strengthening work life balance requires more than formal policies or remote work arrangements. Drawing on empirical research based on a survey of Japanese employees, the session examined the factors that enhance coworker support and highlighted workplace practices in Japan that foster a supportive organisational culture.

The discussion underscored the importance of collective responsibility in creating sustainable work environments.

The seminar was attended by postgraduate students and their supervisors, providing valuable insights into contemporary workplace research and practice.
