On 24 January 2026, volunteers from Sunway Student Volunteers (SSV) participated in Blind Support Day with AOB, an outreach programme organized in collaboration with Agape Outreach to the Blind (AOB), Brickfields. The programme aimed to support visually impaired individuals by assisting them with daily activities and mobility outside the center. The activity took place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with the volunteers returning to campus at approximately 2:00 p.m.

The volunteers were scheduled to gather at the Sunway College Foyer at 9:30 a.m. and depart at 9:45 a.m. However, due to the late arrival of one volunteer, the group departed at 10:00 a.m., resulting in a slight delay. Despite this, the volunteers remained patient and cooperative throughout the journey and arrived at the center on time for the programme.

During the outreach session, volunteers assisted visually impaired individuals by accompanying them to nearby locations to purchase groceries, post letters, and deposit cash at the bank. The volunteers ensured the safety and comfort of the beneficiaries by providing guidance and support when needed. In addition, they assisted with distributing refreshments, serving food and drinks, and washing utensils after mealtimes.

The programme concluded at 1:30 p.m., marking the end of a meaningful outreach experience. Overall, the event allowed volunteers to engage directly with the visually impaired community while reinforcing values such as empathy, teamwork, responsibility, and punctuality.
