Congratulations Sunway University Team Sudofin secured 2nd Runner-Up at Hackathon X: Fintech Forward 2026!

We are proud to celebrate the success of 3 Talented Sunway University students who secured 2nd Runner-Up at Hackathon X: Fintech Forward, a national-level competition organised by Persatuan Mahasiswa Teknologi Komputer (PETAKOM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).

The competition challenged participants from universities across Malaysia to develop innovative application solutions that integrate Financial Literacy and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to address real-world financial challenges within a limited timeframe.

Demonstrating exceptional innovation, technical expertise, coding capabilities, and presentation skills, Team Sudofin one of the Top 10 Finalist impressed the judges and ultimately secured 2nd Runner-Up, bringing home RM1,500 prize money.
