Team Sunway is Ready for SUKIPT 2026! 

We have officially concluded our contingent briefing and send-off ceremony for 210 Team Sunway athletes, who will proudly represent us across 21 sporting events at SUKIPT 2026! Hosted by Universiti Malaya, the games will run from 28 August to 6 September 2026.

Sukan Institusi Pengajian Tinggi (SUKIPT) is Malaysia's largest biennial higher education sports carnival. Our Team Sunway athletes will compete alongside more than 8,200 athletes from 64 contingents nationwide.

Ceremony Highlights:

• Flag Handover:
  Prof. Dato' Elizabeth Lee, CEO of Sunway Education Group, officially presented the Team Sunway flag to athlete Ng Jing Xuan, symbolising the start of our journey towards sporting excellence. Leading our contingent on the ground as official flag bearers are Calvin Lee Shin Rong (Sunway University) and Ayden Shah (Sunway College).
• Jersey & Mascot Unveiling:
  Our newly refreshed mascots, Samson and Sophia, proudly unveiled the new Team Sunway jersey to our distinguished guests:

• Meet the All-New Samson & Sophia:
  Featuring a distinctive sun bear crest design, our beloved mascots have undergone a remarkable transformation, emerging more charming, energetic, and spirited than ever to inspire Team Sunway!
• Inspired Design:
  Inspired by the Visit Malaysia 2026 tourism campaign, the new Team Sunway jersey celebrates the theme "Visit Malaysia, Visit Sunway." Incorporating Malaysia's national flower, the hibiscus, alongside intricate traditional batik motifs, the design reflects the nation's rich cultural heritage.
