Biography

Gnana Selvan obtained his Master’s degree in Music and Sound Technology from University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. He has over 12 years of experience in television, radio, and web-based platforms, doing commercial work for various creative agencies including Astro Shaw, Havas, J. Walter Thompson, Leo Burnett, and Spotify. His expertise extends to music production in terms of recording, mixing, and mastering for local artists including Jaclyn Victor, Siti Nurhaliza, and Projector Band, even winning the award for Best Engineered Album from Anugerah Industri Muzik for Froya’s Panic Bird. He was also a sound designer for several local films and television series such as Polis Evo 2 and Netflix’s The Ghost Bride. He has a comprehensive knowledge in audio post-production and is proficient in using Avid Technology’s Pro Tools.
