Adjunct Professor Jackie Hoo brings more than three decades of hospitality experience, with managerial and leadership roles across Marriott International’s luxury portfolio, including multiple The Ritz-Carlton hotels in Asia, the Middle East and China, and Bulgari Hotel Beijing. In March 2025, she expanded her career from luxury hotels to hospitality at sea, joining The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection as General Manager aboard Ilma. During her tenure, Ilma became the world’s first and only Forbes Five Star cruise in the 2026 Star Awards, a milestone reflecting the collective dedication of the onboard team and strong shoreside support.
