H.E. Dave Malcomson, South African High Commissioner to Malaysia, speaks about South Africa's 30-year relationship with Malaysia and the steps that should be undertaken to deepen it. He is a career diplomat and former Sous-Sherpa for BRICS, IBSA and IORA. He served in the Office of the Economic Advisor of then-President Thabo Mbeki and as International Advisor to the Head of the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) Secretariat. He also oversaw the strategic partnerships for the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), EU-Africa, G8-Africa, Nordic-Africa, and India-Africa.
