What We Do: Tracking

What is Tracking?

Sunway University is committed to reducing its impact on the environment by ensuring sustainable choices are exercised in carrying out its activities and operations. This is done through the principles of safety of building occupants, maintenance and upkeep to prolong facility lifespan, conservation of scarce resources, retro-fitting to improve water and energy efficiency, as well as continuing education of the campus community on sustainable behaviors and practices to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and one’s own personal carbon footprint. The University through the SEG Sustainability Committee takes the lead in setting the framework and targets for the campus and monitoring the impact of campus-wide initiatives. The following areas are closely monitored as they underpin Sunway’s sustainability roadmap (as addressed in the Environmental Sustainability Policy) and targets to achieve by 2030.
