1. High school category (16 – 20 years old)
2. University category (18 – 26 years old)

Competition Eligibility & Requirements:

• Participants: Open to all China and ASEAN high school and university students aged 16 – 26.
• Team Composition: Each team must consist of minimum 2 and maximum 3 students.
• Language: The official language of the competition is English, and all submissions, presentations, and communications must be conducted in English throughout the competition phases.
• Nationality: Participants in the competition must be citizens or permanent residents of China or ASEAN member states and must be currently enrolled as active students in an educational institution at the time of participation.
• Endorsement: Institutional endorsement is required for participation. 

参赛资格及要求：

• 参赛对象：来自中国及东盟成员国的高中生（16至20岁）和本科生（18至26岁）。
• 团队组成：每支参赛队伍可以由2至3名学生组成。
• 比赛语言：竞赛的官方语言为英语，所有的提交材料、演示和交流必须在竞赛的各个阶段使用英语进行。
• 国籍要求：竞赛的参赛者必须是中国或东盟成员国的公民或永久居民，并且在参赛时必须是教育机构的在读学生。
• 机构推荐：参赛者需要获得所在机构的认可才能参赛。

Competition Phases & Timeline:

Phase 1: Launch and Call for Applications (16 June 2025 – 31 July 2025 6 August 2025)

• Participants are required to submit a written concept proposal detailing the identified Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) challenge and their proposed innovative solution.  
• All submissions must be uploaded via the designated online portal here.

竞赛阶段及时间表：

阶段1：启动及招募参赛者  

• 参赛者需提交书面概念提案，详细描述所识别的可持续发展目标（SDG）挑战及其提出的创新解决方案 (Concept Proposal)。
• 所有提交内容，必须通过指定的在线门户上传。 

Phase 2: Concept Proposal Evaluation (August 2025)

• Each submission will be assigned to at least 2 judges for evaluation based on a standard assessment rubric. The score will be normalised for the selection of the top 8 teams.
• The top 6-8 teams will advance to phase 3 based on combined scores from judges’ evaluations.

阶段2：概念提案评选 (2025 年 8 月)

• 每份提交内容将分配给至少2位评委，根据标准评估标准进行评估。分数将进行标准化，以选出每个类别的前8名团队。
• 得分最高的前6-8支队伍将根据评委评估得分晋级到第三阶段。 

Phase 3: Online Mentorship and Proposal Enhancement (September – October 2025)

• Expert mentors will be assigned to provide guidance and support to the qualified teams, assisting them in refining their ideas and proposals.
• Mentorship sessions will be conducted through an online platform to facilitate remote collaboration and learning.  
• Teams will participate in online pitching sessions where they will receive constructive feedback from mentors and judges.

阶段3：在线指导与提案改进 (2025 年 9 月 至 10 月)

• 专家导师将被分配给合格团队，提供指导和支持，帮助他们完善想法和提案。
• 指导课程将通过在线平台进行，以促进远程协作和学习。
• 团队将参加在线演讲环节 (Pitching)，获得导师和评委的建设性反馈。 

Phase 4: ASEAN Final – Innovation Camp (26 – 28 October 2025 25 – 27 October 2025)

• Location: Sunway University, Malaysia.
• The camp will feature a series of workshops, hands-on activities, and networking events, aimed at further developing teams’ prototypes and enhancing their presentation skills.  
• Teams will prepare and deliver their final pitches before a panel of industry and academic judges.
• Outcome: Selection of the top 3 teams to proceed to the grand finale in China.
   

Phase 5: China-ASEAN Grand Finale & Award Ceremony (2 – 3 December 2025 1 – 2 December 2025)

• Location: Guangxi Academy of Artificial Intelligence, Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Nanning, China.
• Teams will prepare and deliver their final pitches before a panel of industry and academic judges.

阶段4：创新营 (2025 年 10 月 26 日 – 28 日 2025 年 10 月 25 日 – 27 日)

• 地点：马来西亚双威大学 (Sunway University, Malaysia)
• 夏令营将举办一系列工作坊、实操活动和现场参观，旨在进一步开发团队的原型并提升他们的展示技能。
• 团队将准备并向由业界和学术界评委组成的评审小组进行最终展示。
• 结果： 选出前三名团队晋级在中国举办的总决赛。 
   

阶段5：创新营 (2025 年 12 月 2 日 – 3 日 2025 年 12 月 1 日 – 2 日)

• 地点：广西人工智能学，院桂林电子科技大学，南宁，中国。
• 团队将准备并向由业界和学术界评委组成的评审小组进行最终展示。
