On December 12, the School of Medical and Life Sciences observed International Universal Health Coverage Day, a day to underscore commitment to ensuring health for all. This year, the School proudly collaborated with NCD Malaysia, the National Cancer Society Malaysia, and the Malaysian Medical Association-Public Health Society (MMA-PHS) to spotlight this crucial cause.

This recent event was a heartening success, thanks to enthusiastic participation and invaluable contributions. Attendees' presence at Tuesday's event and engagement in the broadcast and discussions were pivotal in amplifying the event's message: Healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and must be accessible to everyone, regardless of background or circumstances.

This year's Universal Health Day is more than a celebration; it's a clarion call for action. The School's collective efforts have strengthened the push for equitable and affordable healthcare for all.
