Proud to Announce a New Milestone at Sunway University with the Launch of Huawei ICT Academy! 

Spearheaded by our very own Professor Angela Lee Siew Hoong, Deputy Dean (Employability and Alumni), where this initiative is set to equip students with industry-leading ICT skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for the digital landscape ahead. Students will have access to training in 22 technical fields such as AI, Cybersecurity, 5G Technology, Big Data and globally recognised Huawei certifications, giving our students an edge in a highly competitive, digital-driven job market.

A memorable signing ceremony took place to celebrate the powerful partnership between Sunway University and Huawei Tech Malaysia. The event was graced by Professor Dato' Elizabeth Lee, Group CEO of Sunway Education Group; Professor Sibrandes Poppema, President of Sunway University; Simon Sun, CEO of Huawei Tech Malaysia; and Mr Mao Dong Yang, Deputy VP of Huawei Tech Malaysia. Other distinguished attendees included Professor Mahendhiran Sanggaran Nair, Professor Ir Denny Ng Kok Sum, and Delea Tan, Public Affairs Manager of Huawei Tech Malaysia, along with representatives from Sunway Group — Hock Wei Wan, Yoke Chin Yong, Tiew Keh Chyn, and Haziq M. Hussin. Members of the SET Management Team, including Professor Adarsh Kumar Pandey, Professor Ir Rosdiadee Nordin, Dr Saad Aslam, and Dr Richard Wong, were also present.
