Advancing Respiratory Health Through Global Collaboration
As part of our ongoing Desa Mentari Community Research, Sunway University had the privilege of hosting a dynamic and impactful discussion with the Institute of Respiratory Medicine (IPR), focusing on tuberculosis (TB) and broader respiratory health challenges affecting communities.
The session spotlighted powerful collaborative research ideas presented by Dr Zamzurina Abu Bakar (IPR) and Professor Mahendhiran Sanggaran Nair, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) at Sunway University.
We were also honored by the presence of distinguished experts from Harvard Medical School, Professor Salmaan Keshavjee, Professor Mercedes C. Becerra, and Professor Roslina Abdul Manap, whose insights and contributions enriched the dialogue and strengthened our shared mission to improve community health outcomes.
Together, we’re building bridges between research, medicine, and community impact, one conversation at a time.
